SET index continues to surge

the stock exchange of thailand main index soared more than 20 points on wednesday afternoon on the back of inflowing foreign direct investment, reports said.
foreign investors had made net purchases of more than two billion baht during this morning trading session. most foreign investors bought shares of the energy companies, substantially increasing these firms’ share prices.
the main index went up 14.76 points or 1.34% to close at 1,115.88 points at the end of trading session on wednesday morning. the trade value was 19.27 billion baht, with 2.46 billion shares traded.
about 14.56pm, the set index rose 20.24 points to stand at 1,126.36 points, according to the reports.
at 3.27pm, the main index stood at 1,118.73 points, up 17.61 points, or 1.60 per cent. the trade value was 15.27 billion baht.
at 3.37am, the set index rose 18.37 points, or 1.67 per cent, to stand at 1,119.49 points, with a total turnover of 32.92 billion baht, with 3.72 billion shares traded.

SET index rises 8.20 points

the stock exchange of thailand main index went up 8.20 points or 0.78% to close at 1,053.04 points at the end of trading session on tuesday afternoon. the trade value was 27.58 billion baht, with 4.26 billion shares traded.
the set50 index ended at 738.13 points, up 5.92 points or 0.81%, with a total trade value of 18.48 billion baht.
the set100 index rose 12.97 points or 0.81% to stand at 1,604.13 points, with a total turnover of 22.86 billion baht.
the sethd index went up 3.13 points or 0.31% to 1,027.98 points with a total trade value of 6.35 billion baht.
the mai index rose 2.64 points or 0.98% to close at 271.48 points, with total transaction value of 848.93 billion baht.
top five most active values were as follows;
banpu stood at 576.00 baht, up 18.00 baht (3.23%)
ptt stood at 324.00 baht, unchanged
top stood at 62.00 baht, up 1.25 baht (2.06%)
cpf stood at 35.00 baht, unchanged
pttep stood at 181.00 baht, up 2.00 baht (1.12%)

the stock exchange of thailand main index went up 19.53 points or 1.88% to close at 1,056.54 points at the end of trading session on tuesday afternoon. the trade value was 24.02 billion baht, with 3.00 billion shares traded.
the set50 index ended at 740.03 points, up 15.60 points or 2.15 %, with a total trade value of 16.34 billion baht.
the set100 index rose 32.29 points or 2.05% to stand at 1,609.43 points, with a total turnover of 19.67 billion baht.
the sethd index went up 19.37 points or 1.91% to stand at 1,034.30 points, with total trade value of 6.60 billion baht.
the mai index went up 2.29 points or 0.84% to close at 276.47 points, with total transaction value of 1.06 billion baht.
